Common Questions About The Referral Program
Is this the same as becoming a Bitcoin Adviser?
This page is for referral partners who introduce clients and earn commission. Adviser roles are a separate path with different responsibilities and compensation; we can discuss that if it becomes relevant after you are an active referral partner.
Do I need to refer a minimum number of clients?
No. You can refer as few or as many clients as you like. One successful referral generates recurring revenue for as long as that client remains with us.
How quickly will I receive my first payment?
Referral fees are paid quarterly, at the end of the month following each quarter. For example, if a client becomes active in Q1 (January-March), you'll receive your first payment at the end of April. See our Terms of Service for full details.
What happens if a client I referred leaves The Bitcoin Adviser?
If a referred client leaves, your commission payments for that client stop. However, you keep all payments you've already received, and any other clients you've referred continue generating income.
How are referrals tracked?
When you become a referral partner, you receive a personalized landing page URL. When prospects visit your landing page and contact us through it, they're automatically tagged as coming from you. This ensures we can accurately track and attribute referrals back to you.
What support do you provide to referral partners?
We provide the Referral Partner Onboarding Guide, brand assets, messaging frameworks, and direct access to our team. Stacking Hats leads day-to-day partner support: onboarding, messaging, quarterly reporting, and practical help when introductions are ready. You receive a personalised landing page URL and shareable QR code after approval, plus transparent quarterly reporting on referrals and payments.
What are the terms and conditions?
The referral program terms are outlined in our Terms of Service. Key points: 10% revenue share for as long as the client remains active, quarterly payments in Bitcoin, and the program continues unless the agreement is terminated or The Bitcoin Adviser closes or is sold.
